Tom Cimino founded CompIntelligence in 2002 with a focus on providing higher levels of service and customer satisfaction at lower costs while also providing a family-first work environment for employees. He saw that, with CompIntelligence, he could draw on his vast network of experts to build an organization that combined technical skills, consulting expertise and flexibility not found at other firms. Today, with over 20 years of experience, Tom is a recognized leader and innovator in Enterprise Performance Management, Business Intelligence and Compensation Solutions and Analytics.
Tom began his career with PriceWaterhouseCoopers national and local tax organizations, with a focus on technology and bridging data from clients directly through audit and consolidated corporate tax returns. He then joined IMRS/Hyperion in the early 1990s as one of the earliest consultants to implement Hyperion and led successful implementations at IBM, Pepsi, Electronic Arts and hundreds of other corporations worldwide. Tom brought this innovation to Transcentive (now Solium), where he led a successful consulting organization delivering complex equity compensation implementations for large clients, including GE, UBS and Morgan Stanley, among many others.
Tom graduated from American University’s Kogod School of Business with a degree in Information Technology.
When not managing the business, Tom can be found spending time with family and friends, fishing in the Connecticut River, and attending his three children’s sports and theater events.
